How to Write a Book Fast
You decided to write a book. Congratulations, that's great! Being an author can gain you recognition and help your business attract more customers And if those are your only goals, then the faster you write your book, the better. But you might miss one of the best reasons for having a book if you just focus on getting it done fast. That reason is to make money
 

Getting recognition and attracting more clients can actually be achieved quicker and easier says book business expert DrProactive Randy Gilbert, if you "slow down and take some time to create a bestselling business around your book". He says that you will be rewarded with a better book, more money, and a continuing stream of income that far exceeds what the book alone would have earned.

DrProactive calls it a "bestselling business," because it can make you a bestselling author and a millionaire at the same time. He recommends using the following 3 steps to create an information business around your book.

Step 1:

Make a list of the top 10 benefits (20 is better) you can provide for your clients. Then write out the top 7 ways that you will create those benefits (i.e. the strategies, guides, and tactics that help solve their problems in your area of expertise). Congratulations, you have the Table of Contents for your book.

Step 2:

Use the same expert knowledge that will be going into your book to create other information products. One quick and easy info product is a Teleseminar.

Ask someone with an e-mail list (friend or JV partner) to interview you over the phone and invite their followers to listen. This is good for you and them, because they will be exposing their followers to some great content, and you will have a recording that can be transcribed and turned into a part of your book. A 60 minute interview could become 30 to 40 pages of a book. Do the same thing for each Chapter and you'll have your book in no time.

Besides helping your create your book, there are at least six more possible information products that will help you make money during the writing process. Before your book is published, these info products can help generate lots of pre-sales for your book. By pre-selling your book you can often sell enough copies so that you become a bestselling author when your book is published. Being a bestselling author is far better recognition and it usually helps to get more clients too.

Step 3:

Do one proactive thing a day using the 80-20 rule as a guide to what will have the most impact. One hour a day would be wonderful but at least half an hour would be great. Even, if you have a conflict and must do something else for that time of day...do something anyway for at least 10 minutes on your busy days. Just take action. Don't worry about getting things perfect. Get a first draft done. Then revise it as you have time, or send it to an editor to do that for you.

Change your plan of action and start creating a bestselling business to write your book. In 90 to 180 days, you will have the first draft of a great if you follow these steps, and you'll have a nice passive income and enough copies sold to become a bestseller as soon as it's published.

You can't start yesterday, and you shouldn't put it off until tomorrow
